Uniform Prediction Thread - 2017 Game 2 - Texas State (Home)

They look stupid! Someone used the term Dark Silver jerseys? They will be dark once everyone sweats in them.
Black Pants and Black Helmet would have been best option to go with these Dark Silver Unis!
I get that it is 90 degrees, but come on.

I've decided, if you're going to have an alternate uni, it should be a one or two off, and be funky/crazy. Not an exact replica of what your uniform already is.
But yes, if we MUST wear the silver, it should only go with the black, and on the road.

I sort of wonder if they did this on purpose to wear lighter colors in September. My car said it was 92 degrees outside when I started it up. It wasn't crazy out there, but it was warm for sure.

No reason we can't wear white jerseys at home for hot weather games. Oregon is wearing white at home this week. I would much prefer that to ever seeing the W-S-W combo again. Possibly my least favorite so far.

Next week's tickets say "Wear white".

I think you will get your wish.

The WSW was not my favorite. The Silver is too dark IMO. The promo pictures they released this past week looked quite a bit lighter and looked like it would work. The silver jersey is a cool alternate, but I am not sure I really like it, in any form yet.

I'm not a big fan of the white helmets anyways but if they want to do gray/silver jerseys they need to make so changes to them. Normally there isn't a bad seat in the house in Folsom but from the second level it was very hard to read the players numbers and forget about the names on the jerseys.

This is in now way support for the SEC, ACC, or old SWC, but with all due respect - WTF? 92 degrees in Colorado feels like 65 in Texas/Alabama/Florida. This isn't intramurals. My son wore black jerseys/helmets/pants when it was 105. I want to choke everyone who thinks wearing a light colored shirt during a football game is a good answer for "the heat" (especially when it's under 100 with 0 humidity).

There is a noticeable tactical advantage to putting your opponent in a jersey that feels 10-15 degrees hotter over the course of a 3.5 hr game.

I know I am in the minority on the board, bit I really really like the white helmet. Especially with the black jersey and white pants. One of my favorite non traditional combos.

Have to admit, did not like the WSW from yesterday. Could never wear them again and it would be ok.

BSB = Best alternate uni.

Bring on GGG.
Love the black silver black but this was a cool alternate as well.

Wow... I'm surprised at the hate for these. I don't know how they looked on TV, but I thought they looked really good in person. Liked it better than BSB.

On TV it looked like a red towel got thrown into the same washing machine as the shirts. There was a slight pink hue. Same issue on the TV at the Old Chicago watch party and the replay at the house.

Any uniform looks fine after a win, including WPW.

Think it was because of the maroon helmets and possibly maroon pants that TSU wore. As the game wore on, I noticed it more on the replays.
