The striping mostly didn't work because it rained for like 4 hours.
They did not attempt last season.
I am fairly certain the USC game will be a blackout.

I agree with Silver-Black-Silver, which is not my favorite, but may work fine.
Texas State will wear either all white, or Gold-White-Red
Did anyone realize that Texas State has 38,800 Students?
These are not HOME colors!!! I pray that Texas State does not wear White, otherwise this is just bad planning! I still think we only need to have 3-4 options, and this one is about choice number 13.

Silver is NOT a home color as far as being the primary dark color! What is going on with the traditions of the school and uniforms?
The only jersey for Home Games should be Black, and either in a traditional look like last Friday, or in a Blackout.
Still confused by the uniform strategy. Thank goodness nobody nationally will be watching if we wear three light colors at a home game.

It's really not that big of a deal. College and pro teams have been wearing their white uniforms at home during hot weather games for several years now. They will have Texas St bring their dark uniforms.
Settle down.
The uniforms are not for the 35+ yr old fans. It is that simple. The players pick them and the recruits love them. That is all that matters. The uniforms are no longer simply about tradition and recognizable brands. They are recruiting tools.
And yet the silver pants and silver helmets are actually a callback to the 1950s.
While yes we did wear those in the 50's, I believe the silver was more about involving one our school colors that we never use anymore.
Right, which I think is awesome. My point is that the silver is actually *more* traditional, not less.

Just not nearly enough black or gold for my tastes.
They will look even better in the sun. People always freak out for no reason, it's Texas state.
The only combination I don't think I'd like is silver and gold of any kind. Otherwise, I think everything matches pretty well.

Is everyone aware that Texas State is wearing Maroon Helmets, WHITE JERSEYS, and Maroon Pants. Major jersey conflict!
It's bad. But my absolute least favorite is white jerseys with gold pants. All helmet combos would be horrible with it.
