Uniform Prediction Thread - 2017 Game 2 - Texas State (Home)

Smart woman. It's one thing to agree to marry you. It's a whole other kettle of fish to agree to share a bathroom with you.
Is everyone aware that Texas State is wearing Maroon Helmets, WHITE JERSEYS, and Maroon Pants. Major jersey conflict!
How is a white jersey and DARK gray jersey a conflict?

Because it is a conflict! Also, when our White Pants and White Helmets flash with the TX State white shirts, there is a visual conflict. I am not against allowing the kids to pick the jersey sets each week as long as there are some basic guidelines that are followed. Silver and White are AWAY Colors, and Black (maybe Gold) is the HOME color. Go ahead and make up some combos from that basic element.
Now, the one thing that I have wondered about seeing some day is the concept helmet that was sitting in the equipment room one time that was almost super gold/copper looking? I could not find a picture of it, but was wondering if Nike would use that for some type of one time uniform kit.
I am a uniform ogre, and actually like every team to have solid uniform sets if possible, like the Color Rush. I kinda like the idea of a Gold Rush uniform set? Do not totally love this helmet below, but the solid kits would be my ultimate favorite. "Gold Rush", "Black Out", and "Stormtrooper"

I think the white helmets suck, make us look like something other than Colorado to the casual viewer and I'd be happy if we never wore them. However, your argument that it's a "conflict" because we're wearing white helmets and pants and they are wearing white jerseys is ridiculous. The white helmets make me think of Wyoming every time I see it. We should always wear gold helmets with our black logo on the side. I don't like playing with uniforms, but I get that many fans and players do. Fine, go do that, but leave our classic helmet alone imo. I loathe the white helmets.

I want to see it before I judge, but my first thought was also that silver is a road color and that wearing WSW against a team wearing a white jersey would also look odd. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
As far as helmets go, I agree that the whites look like Wyoming. Not really a fan. I like the silver helmets, but would prefer to have only black and silver on them. The gold lettering on a silver helmet looks odd, imo.

Huh? The shade of gold on the pants (a dull tan) looked the same as last year to me.
Never go full Gold
FYI - on tv the unis look horrible.
