Naming a kid Spencer is like naming him Sue. He’s more likely to get beat up, which will either make him tougher or doom him to a life among the snivelers.

Or ever. Not a lot of historical correlation between this contest and how the same guys end up career wise .

The top qb's each year tend to compete at least in a regional Elite 11 at a minimum. I agree where they place isn't an indicator of future success.

I still want Ty in the final Elite 11 because:
1) he would be happy about it
2) it would be good for our recruiting efforts

247sports has 25 QBs (Pro & Dual) rated as 4* prospects. Ty Evans is not among them. He's their 29th ranked guy at the moment.

I'm confident he is about to get a significant ratings bump that we'll be excited about.
