If you can't sustain or soon match a unicorn season (no one can), you will be fired sooner or later. There are guys that can build to great seasons.

There are guys that can sustain high performance.

The overlap in the venn diagram of those two groups is actually pretty small.

And that's true in most of life, not just football.
