2023 NCAA MARCH MADNESS GAMES THREAD

SDSU has the advantage of a deeper bench, fresher legs. These long commercials lessen that. That was 3 mins

What a disgusting display.

SDSU stayed in this game by being physical as hell, but the game is decided by a phantom touch.

The officials got in the way here. There was contact there, but it didn't impact the result of the play. Trammell missed the shot, and he likely does if there's no contact. They follow it up with another error on the in bounds-I thought the ball was out off SDSU, and three tenths left........and you don't put any time back on the clock?

Embarrassing display of officiating.

Wrong on both points.

I'm pretty sure the long pass was off the Creighton player, but I'm guessing anyone who didn't think Trammell flopped was rooting for SDSU.

I don't think he flopped. I have two issues with that play-I don't think Lee Cassell (the official who made the call) had a good look at the play. I also don't think Nembhard's hand on Trammell's hip impacted the play.

You think Nembhard made him fall down? That's hilarious.
He altered his shot. He pushed hard enough that the shooter was disrupted in the air. It's not like he grazed him. You can see the pressure and the indentation on the jersey as he pushes. Was it a blatant foul? No. Was it a foul at any point in a game? Yes. Plus, the referee had a straight shot view of it.

Listen, I had absolutely zero dog in that fight plus I probably hate referees as much as anyone on this board. That said, it was foul - no question.

The only person on this board who does referee disagrees with all of this.

Watch the courtside replay of the call. The referee who made the call had a straight shot view of the play.

Guys, we’re overlooking something important here:

This result made Nebraskans sad.

Who gives a **** about anything else?
