Why would I believe in Cash? He never gets a push in the run game and struggles with combo blocks. He looks like he can be a fine backup while he develops, but he's not a starting C on a championship team. You don't trust CASH? Or we do not have a backup likely depending on how Hank bounces back
Cash has some work to do in the offseason. He needs to shed 25lbs of "Bubba Fat" and replace it with D1 muscle and mass. If he can do it remains to be seen. Why would I believe in Cash? Hank's gone.
I mean, it looks like Bates was running third string as a second year player on a bad Oklahoma team. Cash was a True Freshman All American for one of the best offenses in the Big 12. He needs to get bigger and stronger, but I don’t see why you would think Bates > Cash or that Cash is not a starter on a championship caliber team. Why would I believe in Cash? 3rd string behind a couple of experienced C's who were pretty highly regarded transfers as well.I mean, it looks like Bates was running third string as a second year player on a bad Oklahoma team. I would expect that Loadholdt would know what he is getting given he came from OU and coached that line.I mean, it looks like Bates was running third string as a second year player on a bad Oklahoma team. Would be a good fit for him. Houston kid. Lost his starting job at ATM. Go be the starter at UH - Bridgeland HS is in Cypress which is a Houston suburb.
This would be a bit of an unexpected coup here for Willie Fritz and Houston.

I’m not really trying to downgrade Bates, I just thought the comments about Cash strange given how well he played as a true freshman walk on coming off the bench mid season.I would expect that Loadholdt would know what he is getting given he came from OU and coached that line.
Cash’s contribution to this season may be one of the most underrated parts of the 2024 team. If he hadn’t stepped in and stepped up to solidify the interior line, we could have slid back into last years’ OL woes.I’m not really trying to downgrade Bates, I just thought the comments about Cash strange given how well he played as a true freshman walk on coming off the bench mid season.
Video last week, Sapp said he and CP were on the same plane to Dallas - and didn't know each other were flying. Surprised me.CP doesn’t fly commercial. The traveling party can fly home early Sunday and back be in Boulder with plenty of time to “close” a deal if necessary
Sooooooooooo Trevor Woods' replacement?

I'm not negative on Cash. But he's the type of recruit who shouldn't be starting before his 3rd or 4th year of development.I’m not really trying to downgrade Bates, I just thought the comments about Cash strange given how well he played as a true freshman walk on coming off the bench mid season.
IMG speeds development over 90% of high schools, but I totally get the fact his offseason needs to be hard core body transformation to keep his spot. Hank has not gone into the Portal yet, so maybe he wants to fight to get it backI'm not negative on Cash. Did Woods hit the portal?Sooooooooooo Trevor Woods' replacement?
Nope. But if he does, we have Woods 2.0 in this guy. Not sure that's a good thing.Did Woods hit the portal?
Yeah except Bama’s true freshman 5* WR Caleb Odom and the #1 IDL Jahem Oatis who are both in the portal and coming to CU (most likely).lol cherry pick much? The top talent is already funneling to Ole Miss, Bama, Ohio State, etc.
Sometimes you look at a guy playing FCS or DII and it jumps out at you that the dude doesn't belong on that field with that competition. This is one of those times.
That's Coach Prime at work and you know it. CAL just lost their very good young QB, do you think he's going to UNLV?Yeah except Bama’s true freshman 5* WR Caleb Odom and the #1 IDL Jahem Oatis who are both in the portal and coming to CU (most likely).
I think he means parity among power 4 teams. That's Coach Prime at work and you know it. CAL just lost their very good young QB, do you think he's going to UNLV?
Started 2 games for OU, so "3rd string" is a slanted characterization. Loadholt recruited in 2023 class, coached him for a year, and then he started twice at C for an SEC blue blood as a RS Frosh. That's a different way to characterize it which I believe is much more accurate.3rd string behind a couple of experienced C's who were pretty highly regarded transfers as well.
