He should go where he’s most comfortable. We will get ours at WR/Move TEOuch. Ole Miss a real threat. Gotta hope his relationship with Juju + our $$ outweighs Ole Miss $$$$$

The guy who lost his job? FFS, do better. Meanwhile Oregon just took a 2nd team all conference player from Northwestern and a 3rd team All-American from Purdue.
Not sure if any of you follow @buffedinprime (t-cal)? He’s a little polarizing but a pretty good talent evaluator on twitter. He’s all in for Coastal Carolina d end Clev Lubin. He’s def someone i wish we’d look at.We definitely need at least 1 transfer for that Cokes SDE/ pass rush DT role.
Nwankwo replacement(s) who command a double team on the interior would be the top priority, but this is also a major need.
Wow - I didn't think the perfect GIF exists, and yet here we are
I mean if you have watched CFB the last two years and think there isn’t more parity, I don’t know what to tell you. It’s blatantly obvious. Yes, some guys are going to jump up. But blue bloods are not hoarding talented guys as backups anymore. The guy who lost his job? FFS, do better. Oh, and you know who Louisville's last QB was? Yeah, the dude who sucked at Oregon and got replaced.
Last year Oregon State lost *good* starters to Texas, Florida State, USC, Miami.
WSU is losing their stud QB for the 2nd year in a row. Just stop. If you're gonna die on this dumbass hill, just do it already.
FSU lost their 5* QB from the 2024 cycle to Mississippi State today.I mean if you have watched CFB the last two years and think there isn’t more parity, I don’t know what to tell you. @The Alabaster Yak and I are not the ones dying on a dumb hill here
Yep - not what I expected to happen, but schools that could not or would not do things under the table are now more comfortable participating in paying playersFSU lost their 5* QB from the 2024 cycle to Mississippi State today.
Alabama is losing a plethora of players through the portal
Ohio State lost their 5* QB from the 2024 cycle
Of course the top programs are also signing new talent, but we are seeing talent being spread out among the top half of P4 more than we have in multiple decades.
Above the table NIL is a big part of it for sure, but unlimited transfers and a expanded playoff also play big roles. The blue bloods simply can't hoard all the top HS recruits and keep them on their roster as depth for 4-5 years after they recruit over the ones who don't pan out. Saban wanted no part of a college football era where he couldn't do that.Yep - not what I expected to happen, but schools that could not or would not do things under the table are now more comfortable participating in paying players
I don't have a strong opinion either way, but I lean toward the way Coach Prime is handling this. I think the better message to the locker room is that playing time is for players who are committed to the team.Prime taking the opposite stance of Dillingham, which is fine.
It's a nice carrot to hold in front of guys at a minimum. I think he'd be taking a different approach if we were in the playoffs though.I don't have a strong opinion either way, but I lean toward the way Coach Prime is handling this. I don't think of HCDS as a hypocrite. wondering if he learned something from his experience letting Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter play at JSU's bowl two years ago to change his stance.I don't have a strong opinion either way, but I lean toward the way Coach Prime is handling this. When you're talking about an exhibition bowl game, it's easier to make this choice. When you're in the playoffs, it's much harder to say that we'll get by without some very important, even if non-starting, contributors. I think both coaches might have done things differently if the roles were reversed.I don't have a strong opinion either way, but I lean toward the way Coach Prime is handling this. Nobody in the coaching profession believes that anyone is guaranteeing a starting position to any player. It's not necessary and it's just bad karma.
If I'm a Bama fan reading that, my reaction is:
1. He's not worth that much.
2. We should never guarantee a starting spot.
3. Opportunity to play both ways would have to be earned.
--------
4. Goodbye and good luck.
Definitely seems targeted to spin fan opinion away from being pissed at the program for losing him to the portal.
Peeps gonna be surprised when Belichek starts making waves in recruiting (assuming the bank roll is intact).Ouch. Ole Miss a real threat. Gotta hope his relationship with Juju + our $$ outweighs Ole Miss $$$$$
Think about it like someone giving notice at work, how committed are they during those last two weeks? You don’t want someone who’s not fully invested in the program out on the field. Especially when you could give other players valuable game experience.I don't have a strong opinion either way, but I lean toward the way Coach Prime is handling this. I think the better message to the locker room is that playing time is for players who are committed to the team.
But I bet there won't be several Reddit threads dedicated to making the argument that he's ruining college football.Peeps gonna be surprised when Belichek starts making waves in recruiting (assuming the bank roll is intact).
This is a novel concept in my world. I never do what’s best for me.Yeah. I saw Dillingham talk about this. His position is that guys need to do what is best for them. And he recognizes that waiting until after the season could hurt players. He said his guys would be treated no differently as long as they show up for meetings, workouts, etc.
Yes please. But I feel like I read elsewhere after speculation that they wouldn’t be interested
one year, these all year to year dealsIt'd be way easier if they just said, "we agreed to terms on a new 2 year deal for x player to return to x school"
