fify.MM understands that he will sink or swim with the coaching staff he puts together. His raft is full of anchors now.

Man Lindgren is gone and everyone is still bitching and moaning about the changes. The reality is that any outsider coach coming in might know that this might be an one year job since HCMM could be shown the door after next season and that does reduce the coaching pool who would be interested. Get real.
Who becomes the head of recruiting when Chev gets passed over? This isn't a change. This is re-shuffling the deck chairs.
With no bump in recruiting firepower. WTF?This isn't a change. This is re-shuffling the deck chairs.
No. He's getting bigger showcase games and moving up the ladder fast, from what I can tell. He moved his family to the west coast. And he's probably making a lot more than a QB coach at CU pays.Think Joel Klatt would have any interest?
Pretty much, for some reason Ozzy Osbourne's Crazy Train is running trough my head.Senior players see the field, senior coaches get promoted? Is this a fvcking union shop?
Hoping for it works out. Go Buffs.
No matter how hard I try, I just can't understand this. This is ridiculous.
Great Coach, great guy and excellent young offensive mind. Tough injury and scheme year this year which he will bring a much needed view to. Better play calling from Chev and some better decision making and quick releases from the QB will help this a lot.I like it....he’ll want to run the ball. I also think he’s a much better coach than what was displayed by the OL this year
--------To me, this means it was the only way Adams and Chev were going to stay at CU. Going out to find an established, veteran OC and essentially demote Chev was just not going to happen, and in order to keep Adams happy was to give him the "2017 Chev promotion". Whatever, go out and get a legit QB coach, replace Bernardi with a recruiter and we'll see what happens with Hagan.

That was always going to come from the new QB coach and presumably new TE coach. With no bump in recruiting firepower. WTF?
IIRC, Adams was interviewed by UW last year. He is an up and comer. I think, speaking for myself, fans were looking for something along the lines of JMFL, not a corporate reorganization with one guy put on the ice floe.--------
Wait.....what is the big worry about keeping Adams? What has he done that has been truly meaningful? Did he recruit big names? I have been frustrated by the play of his units.
Well yes, unless you believed we were going to hire a big name at this point in the tenure of MM. Which apparently, many did think. That was always going to come from the new QB coach and presumably new TE coach.
With all the coaching changes, it would seem reasonable that we will poach a few recruits at the 11th hour. I wouldn’t be too sure our ranking falls too far. A couple DL and a good LB or two and we are in business.
Why do I get the feeling half of you OL experts are going to be disappointed when this works out well and we make a bowl game next year.Great Coach, great guy and excellent young offensive mind. Tough injury and scheme year this year which he will bring a much needed view to. Better play calling from Chev and some better decision making and quick releases from the QB will help this a lot.
