I just heard a dude on the radio heading home who I think expressed my view about all this correctly: this tournament has not gone the way a lot of people expected. Especially if we're talking about what people in August thought it would look like. The initial teams might be different, the remaining teams might be different. The fact that we've only had one game was compelling in the 4th quarter has certainly been a letdown. But that doesn't mean that we instantly need a complete overhaul.

We have incomplete data right now no matter what, but I'd argue that one year's worth of playoffs is incomplete data. We can't impulsively make changes just because it doesn't look the way we thought it would (or wanted it to look). Have some patience, let it play out for a couple of years, then make changes with a more full understanding of what works and what doesn't.

I think we can make one change right away and move the calendar up

Counterpoint:

No.

Full knee jerk reaction changes based on incomplete data ONLY!

My kids are Longhorns. I cheer for Texas as long as it does not hurt the Buffs and, my kids cheer for the Buffs as long as it does not hurt the Horns.
It seems like you were doing more than cheering for them. That was weirdly aggressive.
