* bye weekLet’s be real. The teams that really shouldn’t have been in this cfp:
Oregon
Boise State
SMU
Tennessee
We really only need 8 teams, which will get rid of the buy week, so everything will be dandy.
I'd rather winSpeaking of dressing, the opposite.
I am absolutely sick of these college coaches going out in a poorly fitting, sleeveless or collarless or otherwise altered sweatshirt that looks like it came out of a discount bin at the local Goodwill.
They aren't Bill Belichick, they are supposed to be representing their team and their university.
I don't have a problem with sweats themselves. Prime and some other coaches wear them as a positive fashion statement. They make sense for somebody who is actively coaching on the sideline, outdoors in weather conditions, around a bunch of sweating athletes.
Just try to look like you have some pride in yourself, or at least have a home.
Arkansas says “hi”
espn says the line is osu -6 yet the odds to win is Texas at 51%
how does this make sense?
Pretty sure that has nothing to do with the selection committee and everything to do with the rules in place for conference champs getting automatic byes.
I'm also confident that will change this offseason because of this year.
normally I hate ND as much as the next guy, but I have a really hard time not rooting for Marcus Freeman and Riley Leonard.
Enters the portal next week…The QB from North Texas never took a varsity snap at QB in HS or college til today.
His HS coach never gave him a chance at QB, so he switched positions to safety. He was going to play college ball in the secondary when he was kinda randomly asked to throw for a guy who happened to work with Mahomes. He were impressed so he invited him back to throw for Mahomes' whole team and this time they sent tape to various schools. North Texas was one of the ones that called, and he ended up starting tonight.
Cool story.

College coaches generally don't have the issue here that like Belichick did with the Pats.Speaking of dressing, the opposite.

I know that kid. Perche or something. Bro is a good athlete but played 1A Minnesota HS ball in the boonies. There is ZERO comparison to be made.Dip**** announcer on the Mayo Bowl saying that some white kid from Minnesota was going to be "next year's Travis Hunter" because he's a defensive back that they might add some offensive plays for.
They saw it and still don't understand it.
Whitebread, walleyed, hot dish, dollar general, wannabe Travis Hunter just blew a punt return. Travis would never.I know that kid. Perche or something. Bro is a good athlete but played 1A Minnesota HS ball in the boonies. There is ZERO comparison to be made.
Maybe. Theoretically, if it wasn’t for the conference championship bye week rule, 1-4 would have been#1 and #2 would still be out.
Maybe. Theoretically, if it wasn’t for the conference championship bye week rule, 1-4 would have been
1 - Oregon
2 - Georgia
3 - Texas
4 - Penn State
5 - Notre Dame vs 12 - Clemson
6 - Ohio State vs 11 - Arizona State
7 - Tennessee vs 10 - Boise State
8 - Indiana vs 9 - SMU
Oregon would have played winner of IU/SMU
Georgia would have played winner of UT/BSU
Texas would have played winner of tOSU/ASU
PSU would have played winner of ND/Clem
Everything would be different
Anyway, in that scenario I think we are looking at Oregon vs ND and Georgia vs Ohio State in the semis and probably ND vs Ohio State in the Natty just like what’s probably happening. You sound like an Oregon fan. Sorry. Not sorry.

Except for the targeting non-call, right?I can’t wait for the next round. For all the bitching, I think the playoffs have been awesome.
Who would have thought that more meaningful games would lead to a better outcome for the postseason. I hope they push this thing to like 24I can’t wait for the next round. For all the bitching, I think the playoffs have been awesome.

that is too logical to workMaybe, just maybe college football needs one governing body that enforces rules equally, schedules equally, and has one league of officials
