Bubble Watch - Saturday 3/12

Allright, this bubble talk is done with... I want to send the Big TeXII out with a big FU. Lets win this ****ing thing.

I'm watching for seeding now. I want to know who we're planing and I want so see some teams have their bubbles burst. Every team that loses, we pass for a higher seed.

....and think we've already passed a few who may have back door'd their way in (i'm looking @ you St. Mary's & Nova)

Just saw the latest "First Four In" on the ticker and we aren't on it anymore! (And no, we didn't move to the First Four Out) Looks like Lunardi may have us out of Dayton and solidly in!

This not only gives us another RPI top 50 win, it should help our RPI and SOS immensely. Our resume now doesn't look anything like a bubble team.

**** yo bubble!

Statsheet has our RPI moving up into quality NCAA territory at 62.

This thread should be deleted. Bubble is not something Colorado fans acknowledge anymore.

I don't want to go to Dayton - that's not the Big Dance. That's a play-in game to get to the Big Dance.

I think we're solidly in, but not getting creamed tomorrow will help.

ESPN just listed us one of the Last 4 Teams with a bye - in other words, not having to go to Dayton.

Six wins against the Top 50...if we have to play Tuesday that would be bogus

Indeed....looking at a lot of these other bubble teams, nobody has as many or close to as many quality wins as we do, and the Committee has traditionally taken those things and recent play heavily into consideration, while the RPI is becoming a worthless/thrown out item (think the committee actually does not even look at this stat anymore).

So unless some teams have some big wins tomorrow & Saturday, no way we deserve to be one of the last 4 having to ride that dayton train

IU up on PSU early 23-22. Penn State has been a little under the radar, but they are very much alive if they advance deep in Indianapolis. That 9-9 Big10 record is pretty good

Can anyone else tell me why our RPI is so crappy anyway?

I'm assuming it's SoS based, but when I look at our non-con schedule, a lot of our non-con opponents have a higher RPI than we do.
