Looks like yards/playAverages for what?
Sacks, TFL, and turnovers is good to seeSix games in:
PPG - found a site that just does offensive points per game: 21.4 - 43d.
Points per play: 47th - trending badly here though.
Points per drive: 54th
YPG: 94
YPP: 5.61 (not good, trending badly)
Efficiency stuff
Overall defense (FEI): 60 - (SP+) 70th
Team passing defensive efficiency: 94th (wowww)
Sacks: 36th - this continues to improve.
TFL: 18th (somehow only dropped one, wow) - tied with nebraska. Crazy how they've not looked like world beaters since they stopped playing our OL.
Turnovers Gained: 26th - a drop after the bye week was a near certainty, but still OK.
Red Zone D: 7th, but with the most red zone opportunities given up in the top 10 in this category. Big outlier there.
3d Down D: 45th (wow! did not feel like this one would improve)
Pretty meh defense that creates havoc. Continues to be the MO. Surprised we didn't get dinged worse for that pretty turrible performance against KSU where we broke a lot of tendencies in a bad way.

We torched Arizona and held them to 7!A season like this, will include two losses to our old big12 north rivals.
And that is okay.
This team, these players, and these coaches have a lot on the line still.
Let’s torch Arizona and hold them to 9.
Seven games in. I'm expecting some nice positive movement after that beat down of a decimated and spiritually demolished Zona squad.Six games in:

Yards Per Rush (new): 3.96, 60th or so. (per game, 79th)
Efficiency Stuff:
Overall Defense (FEI): 38th - huge bump - FYI, FEI likes our D more than our 46th ranked O.
Overall Defense (SP+): 56th - huge bump - aside: Even our special teams is in the top 100 now!
Team Passing Defensive Efficiency: 82 - small bump
Sacks:13th - 3 per game. Continues to rocket up.
TFL: 19th (7 per game). Holding steady.
Red Zone D: 8th - holding steady.
Turnovers Gained: 20th - bump up!
3d Down D: 38th - bump up
Truly dominant performance edging this defense towards being accurately described as better than mediocre. top 20 in points per game given up by the defense is a huge jump and damn impressive. Granted, Arizona was a shell of themselves with a 60th ranked ish O, but you have to credit the D for doing the damn thing.
Big tests coming up against Cincinnati (41st ranked offense), TT (26th), Kansas (27th), and Okie lite (36th). Utah, well, when we get pushed around by that offense y'all will have to admit our defense is not even mediocre. KSU is 16th in O and they mostly had their way with us. UCF is 43d and piled up yards too.
The worst kind of day! It's just a good news kind of day!
This defense is now sung.
took me a while to find CU in that first chart.
Starting to have a pretty complete team.
All the way up to 12th! The defensive staff
Anybody find Cincinnati on there?

Just to the left of CUAnybody find Cincinnati on there?
Thanks. I knew they'd be somewhere close to CU but couldn't get my eyes on itJust to the left of CU
Wish we knew when Hayes was coming back

I guess Prime missed the Positive Coaching Alliance meetings at the coaching convention.
8 games in. I'm thinking we see a lot of drops because Cinci's run game tore us up some. Their OC did good work scheming guys open against our man coverage on their TD drives (or we just, umm, forgot how to substitute).Seven games in. Overall mixed results. Didn't get the turnovers or havoc plays this week but were good enough that our efficiency numbers didn't really get worse and actually improved a bit outside of yards per rush and play. Doing well on 3d down when we had them in passing situations was huge.
