Yeah I don’t see a reason to provide public material for BYU to use by saying they are looking for “revenge”, which is stupid anyways, would they not play as hard or try to win as badly if they didn’t lose to BYU last year? What he tells tv or radio and what he tells his team are completely different things.
My name is Ralphie VII, you killed my father. Prepare to die.Yeah I don’t see a reason to provide public material for BYU to use by saying they are looking for “revenge”, which is stupid anyways, would they not play as hard or try to win as badly if they didn’t lose to BYU last year?
He does love to prop up opposing teams, especially HCs.![]()

Except CSU. That was funny. He does love to prop up opposing teams, especially HCs.
Rightfully so.Except CSU. That was funny.
Pretty good analysis here.
BYU Defense and running game is very good.
Kaidon Salter holds onto the ball longer than any other QB in the game according to them. Although I wonder if that's because he is improvising and moving around.
There is only one outcomeUgh - no good vibes about this one. Feel like it’s going to be 1 of 3 things, 2 of which are bad: tight CU win, tight BYU win, big BYU win.
And Vicker is Doubtful. Looks like Teon Parks and Tyrecus Davis are going to get some run. Wonder if Noah King will get a look at some point.RJ out.
Imagine if we practiced tackling in fall camp!
Maybe it forces us to play more zone. Let's hope. If it works, coaches don't change successful habits easily and it could be the thing that puts our defense on a better trajectory the rest of the season as talent gets healthy or develops.Well that's not great
I foresee about 50 off-guard runs that pick up around 6 yards per carry.
With the terrible injury report for CU, I now expect a fairly easy win for BYU. I have doubts now about the new S&C coach.Ugh - no good vibes about this one. Feel like it’s going to be 1 of 3 things, 2 of which are bad: tight CU win, tight BYU win, big BYU win.
Normally these are solid reads but this one came off as a bit misinformed.Commander Ace Hunter's thoughts before the BYU game: https://buffsblog.com/the-good-the-bad-and-the-ugly-has-the-worm-turned/
Normally these are solid reads but this one came off as a bit misinformed.
1. Simeon Price not Simeon Rice
2. Byard was hurt coming into the season so they didn’t want to risk extending injury by throwing him out there for full games
3. Hayden was also hurt and will be finally full go for this game so I wouldn’t call him “peacing out”
4. Unless we have nobody left to run the ball, we shouldn’t ever be throwing 45 passes a game with Salter at QB. We have Welch and Hayden, and they are likely going to have Dre’Lon, Mikell, or Hardge step in for this game to cover depth. We can run the ball just fine with those guys with the way our line has been blocking.
I thought we had a pretty good offseason program and a very good training staff. This is fvkking ridiculous.

We’re averaging nearly 5 ypc even if you take out salter’s rushing![]()
If we have over 75 yards rushing yards outside of Salter this week, I'll be very surprised.

They're missing one potential starter in RJ Johnson. I guess potentially two if you include Vickers. Do you know what each injury is and why it would be blamed on the S&C staff? Soft tissue strains/pulls, sure. Bone/ligament issues, no. Kind of a weird crash out from you tooThat has to be a mind **** game? If we are truly down those players then we are screwed.
and I am truly disappointed in this guru strength coach
BYU's front 7 is stout. We're better off throwing. Just sayin'.We’re averaging nearly 5 ypc even if you take out salter’s rushing
