I mean, that was technically Texas Tech’s ball, so he was just trying to get it back. Slapping it out of Shilo’s hands wasn’t the move, though.

Fake ass news. Flour tortillas are a staple in lots of foods
My bad. I thought you were being contradictory and saying we don’t need to worry about clock management with 10 minutes still left in the game. I’ll see myself out.? I have no idea how you got that from my post. I’m agreeing that we are atrocious at clock management and it is a sign of a coaching staff that has a lot of work to do. The deeper we advance into “big boy football” the more likely that it costs us a game. I find it extremely frustrating to watch, but I’ll gladly take it over what I was watching under Tucker and Dorrell.
What if I’m white as the flour?Yes.
What the almighty white boy stuff are you smoking? Tortillas are made out of corn. "Flour tortillas" are not real tortillas.

I listened to the first 1/3 of the game in the car on the way home from the airport. One thing I haven't seen discussed is that while TT was racking up that early lead, they were apparently relying on obviously illegal pick plays on the outside against our DBs. GB was going off about it on the radio coverage and when it was 13-0 during a break, there were 3 coaches giving the refs an earful about it.
I don't recall them getting flagged for it, but they also didn't seem to go back to it, either. A bit of a momentum and game changer.
It was AWFUL, and it wasn't for "behind the line." They were picking downfield. Most of their big plays in the first quarter were entirely due to illegal pick plays allowing their receivers to be running free and clear across the field.I listened to the first 1/3 of the game in the car on the way home from the airport. Yeah, none of the passes were behind the line. Like, not even close. When Livingston realized they were not going to get any calls, he correctly switched to zone.It was AWFUL, and it wasn't for "behind the line." They were picking downfield. Even HCPrime discussed it in his post-gamer. He was ticked off about it, too.
Not sure why they went away from that, as it was never called as a penalty. But HCPrime said that DC changed our coverage to deal with the issue. I think it was more nuanced then just going to Zone. The change was impressive, to me.
And the put batteries in ‘em.Yeah. I thought it was just at the start and it looked like a fun tradition on tv. I didn't realize it was a whole game thing with other garbage substituted once they ran out of tortillas.
The AP and Coaches might as well stop putting out rankings once the CFP rankings start. And honestly, they should cease putting any rankings preseason and everything should just wait for the first CFP rankings.
We'd beat Clemson, BYU and Boise State by 20.
Ridiculous. Clemsons D would be a problem for us. Byu destroyed Kansas St who bullied us. Boise? Would be a tough game. We'd beat Clemson, BYU and Boise State by 20.
I started the season thinking that CU was not yet an upper tier program that could take on the big schools. But we have made a big step up in talent, speed, size, and playing tough, figuring out how to win when we aren’t playing our best. Our DL, LBs, and DBs can play with anyone, though our ILB may not yet have the speed to consistently cover backs or TEs against a truly multiple offense. When we hit teams with a good running game AND a QB who is a real passing threat, that could be tough. But that's tough on any defense, not just ours.Ridiculous. Clemsons D would be a problem for us. That was my prediction before the season and your doom will not persuade me.Take it back
It's not my doom. It's the doom. It's everyone's doomThat was my prediction before the season and your doom will not persuade me.
Stupid. Bush. Lack of awareness.Rewatching some of the game, and then listening to Prime talk about how he "Wanted to get Travis another yard and get 2 another few yards" when we were up 14 points, and then they ran schoolyard plays to try and make it happen is so sad. Who gives a **** about those stats, and then when you make that comment out loud, people are going to think less of you even more.
At that moment, there needs to be someone that has the script of what we are trying to accomplish in terms of snapping the ball as low as possible, best play calls, heavier formations, etc. I have coached teams that were talented but overall were not the best team on the field, and you have to manipulate every possible moment in the games. I know many of you hate soccer, but stalling is a part of that game that is not gentlemanly, but works. In CFB, the time that you snap the ball, the type of play calls, and many other things that can be done.
I am truly in love with this TEAM, and while Travis is generational, and S2S is a Pro, we are winning because we are a team of good players that are hungry to succeed. If Travis gets a Heisman, that will be awesome, but I would trade his Heisman for 10 wins and a chance for the Big 12 Title and CFP.

They should be rich (lard), chewy, and relatively thin.
I did not miss these clowns.
