CU has rejoined the Big 12 and broken college football - talking out asses continues

Jesus. The Pac-6 should just stand pat and see if the ACC falls apart.

Apparently you have not been keeping up with the legal cases that the ACC is involved with FSU & Clemson. The ACC is most likely staying intact with a new GOR through 2030.

i like that they can't even consolidate the few remaining programs with any modicum of value

I really don’t understand why WSU and OSU didn’t just join 100% of the MWC in a reverse merger into the PAC, and then just keep all the residual pac money. I’m not sure all these payouts won’t cost more than the dilutive effect of keeping schools like SJSU and Wyoming.

I believe the residual PAC 12 money was based on the conference itself remaining in tact.

It would remain intact if all MWC members joined OSU and WSU. Reverse merger into the PAC.

in any case, I assume the new PAC has crunched the numbers and the poaching fees are less than the dilution of simply doing the full reverse merger.

My gut tells me the new PAC is going to get media bids similar to what the MWC was receiving.

This.

They’re the guy hitting on zeros three hours before closing time.

Ones only until you're 20 minutes out.

Also the MWC would have until 2028 to get to eight members whereas the P12 has until 2026.
