Sounds like it's going to be Vlachos for the rest of the season. Dude has a lot of rings from his time playing and coaching at Bama. I'll take this over McC any day.
Those guys were starting to ask "difficult" questions and write less than glowing articles about the program. They needed to be reminded of where they stand.
Yeah especially when the OL has been a huge issue pretty much the entire season.
And 2 are decent. That's about the % he runs out of there.

I believe the question was, “Matt, if we hire you, will you have a monumental meltdown when things inevitably don’t go your way?”
This is what's killing me.
Setting aside all the people who correctly predicted this disaster 16 months ago, huge numbers of morons who are not paid $3mm/year to run football teams could see that this was a spectacular failure weeks ago.
I mean, you couldn't have figured this out 2 weeks ago when you were heading into a bye week?

LSU OL Coach who delivered the national championship
They fired him in 2020. Officially, they said "for cause" and are trying not to pay him. He's suing. Basically, he admitted to NCAA investigators that he'd had illegal contact with a recruit during Covid, but the NCAA didn't issue a violation so it really didn't rise to a "for cause" termination. Rumor is that the real reason he was fired was because there was a blue chip recruit he was the lead on, he was assumed to be a LSU lock, and he lost him so Coach O terminated him.
He was making $700k at LSU,, so maybe out of our reach. But you never know. I think this is a call you have to make.
