Games thread- (RV) Men's bball scheduled to host Arizona (Saturday, 2/6, 6:00 MT, FS1) and OSU (Monday, 5:00 MT, Pac 12 Networks)

Eli Parquet, who doesn't get a lot of press, had a great game against Arizona and hit a key 3 as time expired in the first half and another one with 1:11 to go in the game to tie it up at 76. Also had 4 assists, to go with 2 steals. Glad that he stayed and is thriving.

What is up with Jabari, he roll an ankle or something? If he did or whatever it was, I must have missed it or forgot.

I can't remember if they said when it occurred or not (practice vs. a game), but in the Arizona game radio pregame show, believe Coach Boyle said it was a foot issue, and they hope he will only miss 2-3 weeks.

Has the game against American Stripper U been rescheduled yet? I haven't seen anything on that.

A lot of unforced turnovers in that half from Oregon State.

Da Silva was clutch with Battey in foul trouble.

13 point lead can't be as unlucky as a 17 point lead, right?

I don't get the Da Silva hate, he's only a freshman, is adjusting to living in a new country, and provides solid minutes
Anyone expecting flawless performance from your 9th man needs some perspective. Have liked his energy anytime he’s got minutes this year. With Walker out and getting more consistent run, he’s looked really good.

To be fair to everyone else, I’m usually the one complaining about him. He’s lost on the offense end (until tonight). But most of my complaints are that he hasn’t looked ready to play. Keep him in the bench and go small with Luke O’Brien

Personally, I don’t think he’s shown anything deserving of getting minutes until tonight.
