He led an incredible team turnaround. Nation-wide respect, maybe COY. 2 sons to be drafted - 1 the top QB. The young man he's mentored will win the Heisman. With all this, the most rewarding (most satisfying) thing about this year is Peggy.
I couldn't be more impressed with the love CP has for others, his perspective on the world..

Why do media folks keep saying this about the bonus? Coach Prime's contract is available to read if they want to report things accurately.
He earned $150k bonus for bowl eligibility (win #6).
He earns a $100k bonus for each win after that (3x for $300k now).
Why is this hard?

If I was a fan of another team, it would annoy the fvck out of me that Coach Prime and CU were getting so much attention (much more than anyone else) based on pure sizzle with very little steak of on-field accomplishments.
I'd have been a "hater" on that aspect of it. There are also people who are consistent in not liking brash, outspoken personalities and it's off putting to them when someone doesn't follow the Crash Davis notes on handling media. I think that's been fair. Most of the rest, when it's not just miserable people who get grumpy when they see other people having fun, has been dishonest as clickbait anti-hype or full on racism.

Thinking of all the HC hires made the last couple years and those millions of fans crying in their beers as they think, "We could have had Prime or Cignetti" makes me smile.
I think we can assume he’s telling JuJu and the other recruits that he’s definitely staying here during their time here, at least. You hear, on the one hand, that Prime absolutely loves Colorado and has no intention of leaving then, on the other, if Dallas drafts Shedeur and Prime is offered their HC job that he’s “100% gone.”

And if he’s telling them that, no way he pulls a MM and bails on them for more money or the NFL. HCP is NOT that guy. That would deeply conflict his asserted and obvious belief as to being a man of his word.
