Ladies and gentlemen, the Prime effect

We should also point out that everything is tainted by the toxic nature of social media.

For example, if you were to judge solely by social media, you would think that everybody outside the state of CO thinks Hunter is a media creation and Ashton Jeanty deserves the Heisman. Yet Travis is winning the fan vote comfortably. That's not (all) because Allbuffers are stuffing the ballot box.

The haters are loudest, especially on Elmo"s evil app.

I think we can assume he’s telling JuJu and the other recruits that he’s definitely staying here during their time here, at least. Otherwise, those kids aren’t giving up their other high-end options.

And if he’s telling them that, no way he pulls a MM and bails on them for more money or the NFL. HCP is NOT that guy. That would deeply conflict his asserted and obvious belief as to being a man of his word.

He's not going anywhere simply for more money. Prime wants to be paid what he's worth, but another school just backing up the Brinks truck isn't going to work the way it does with other coaches (cough, cough, Mel Tucker)

I don't normally watch this crap. I can't take all the loud talking egos. Are these shows like the men's versions of the view? Over dramatic and exaggerated?
I stopped listening to sports-talk years ago, when I just got tired of listening to people simply filling time on the air moving their mouths, for the most part. They pick the low hanging fruit of conversation, the easiest things to talk about, to fill their allotted time while garnering clicks or listeners.

The concepts of factual accuracy or legitimate “analysis” of any game played is not even a secondary concern most of the time. It’s just sad blather to make money and be seen and heard.

There are a few people with something useful or interesting to say, but not remotely enough to fill all the space taken up.

Yup, but this will be spun as a bad thing by many
Yep. It will be proof that it's all about him and he doesn't care about the players. But if they opted out, it would be proof that it's all about him and he doesn't care about the integrity of the game. Enjoy reading Reddit. 😂

r/cfb is the most toxic sub I've ever seen. I'm sure there are like political ones out there that are worse, but I'm not looking for those, lol. I try to avoid it at all costs.

Why do media folks keep saying this about the bonus? Coach Prime's contract is available to read if they want to report things accurately.

He earned $150k bonus for bowl eligibility (win #6).

He earns a $100k bonus for each win after that (3x for $300k now).

Why is this hard?
For some stupid reason, I’m actively raising my cortisol levels by arguing this on twitter that the reporting is wrong. But then I’m being told I’m pocket watching instead of the “journalists” reporting on it. 🤦‍♂️

I don't post on reddit, but I was juiced up late last night and made a snide comment in the thread about Nebraska not shaking hands and how people would react if it was CU. Woke up with a hangover and an ungodly number of notifications
What was the gist of the comments? Seems like you have a great point
