Can’t beat the walleye dinners in Bismarck. Yum…
Never been in NoDak for a meal. The last few years, I’ve been cutting east at Whapeton to head into Minnesota to get into lake country, instead of heading in on I-90 at Fargo.

That said, the walleye plates and sammies I’ve had while in Walker/Leech Lake, MN have been great! Fresh caught perch that is prepped and fried into tenders are probably my favorite.

NDSU is a solid team. But this ain't the CU of 10 years ago, either.

Run the trenches....we have a HOF'er grad assistant taht will have a good gameplan set for the D linemen.
The O line from last year is different as well.

I predict it will be close at the half.
Second half CU will pull away and easily secure a victory by around 17-21 points or so.
It's game #1 (if I remember correctly) so there will be ugliness on both sides at times.

The biggest issue is Bison vs Buffalo...I hate those convos.

Why do people keep trotting this out? Their program right now is nothing like those teams of the past. Conversely, in 2016 we were playing for the Pac12 Championship. Tell me how much that matters in this game. Thought so...
Yeah, they took a nose dive last year, especially on defense.

NDSU Wins vs FBS since 2010:

2010 Kansas 3-9 overall, 1-7 Big 12
2011 Minnesota 3-9 overall, 2-6 Big 10
2012 CSU 4-8 overall, 3-5 MWC
2013 Kansas State 8-5 overall, 5-4 Big 12
2014 Iowa State 2-10 overall, 0-9 Big 12
2016 Iowa 8-5 overall, 6-3 Big 10

The 2013 Kansas State team was a quality win, probably NDSU’s best win. NDSU went on to an undefeated season that year.
The 2016 Iowa team was overrated, got drilled in their bowl game 30-3 by Florida

CU fans should take the Bison team seriously, but they didn’t exactly crush the class of FBS over the years.

Is there any reason for the fans to take them seriously? I hope the team does, but I hope the fans do not.

North Dakota State is going to lose by 30+
I agree, if the TCU game was any indication of the preparation capability of Prime and CO, they will work tirelessly to be super prepared and they will want to come out and absolutely boat race NDSU, they will score as many points as humanly possible, and SS2 will be allowed to throw for 500 before we switch to running the clock out. Pumped for this opener, if this was NDSU 10 years ago with our old staff, old players, and without Transfer Portal and NIL. We are 40 points better and should try to prove that.

Also, CU (with that whatever the hell team we had last year) beat a team, on the road, coming off an appearance national championship game. Not making any predictions here, but NDSU is the same as TCU.
