Football coach Sonny Dykes, who brought Cal from nowhere to 7-5 in three years, is history. He'll sign as new coach of Mizzou shortly.

Nice find. Not surprised, that fits in a lot of ways. So what Cal recruits can we poach?

If Bobo is a guy you would have interviewed and possibly hired based on his work as OC at Georgia, in no way should him going to CSU and going 7-5 as a HC while breaking in a new QB be something that should give you pause as an AD or fan of a program.

Just bumping around, Dykes is still in play but another name coming up on the Mizzou job is Larry Fedora.

Why is Dykes unhappy at Cal?
Lots of speculation Cal is tightening academic requirements for student athletes, wanting to spend less on coaches salaries etc. Plus Dykes is a Texan through and through. He is like a cowboy at a symphony concert. Good coach, but now that he has his feet wet in the P5, my guess is Dykes is looking to go south.
