Official Bowl Season Thread

The rule they were discussing about having an eligible number in order to catch a pass has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

Remember Kaiir Elam, the DB we were trying to land late last year? He made a game clinching pick for Florida in Orange bowl.

Michigan State? That seems kind of random for him and only a slight upgrade, considering if he wins 10 games he’ll almost get to pick his next job.

Michigan State is a clear upgrade and fits his personality. I could also see him staying at Cal for a long time.

Why is the 4th best job in the BIG 10 East a clear upgrade if he’s able to win 10 games and possibly challenge for the conference championship at Cal? Especially considering if he does that, he’ll have options just about anywhere.

I'm guessing Michigan St is going to pay him more and have a higher assistant salary pool. Also, is Cal's AD still a mess?

He has a different mentality than most head coaches. His time at Wisconsin really changed him and it is why he is at Cal.

I don't think he is really that interested in leaving Cal anyway.

It feels like FSU is going to mudhole ASU if they just stop making stupid mistakes. Way more explosive and athletic. Of course, that has been FSU's calling card for a few years now so we shall see.

The Tigers are going to win the championship and you can quote me on that

If he can win 7 games a year at CAL they'll erect a statue of him when he retires. Not having to deal with a fan base or administration that demands excellence from the football program is ironically a pretty big selling point to some coaches.
