Serious ballclub doesn’t play offerdahl as much as they have, and hire Pat shurmur as OC, and neglect the o line two years in a row

Defense was ok but Nebraska legit let off the gas.

Tonight's loss was not on the defense. They showed up. Shut out the second half. Got gashed a few times, but they played well enough for the team to win.
It is on Prime, he may actually be thinking that he could have gotten away with the buddy coach game and it has backfired
Giving Shurmur a lifeline was dumb, Hart and Flea cannot be on a P4 staff yet
Hope he owns it, not on the players and should not spend time just feeling sad for his sons, it is a team

But does he take any of the blame on himself? Like at what point does all of his promises come to fruition or at the least he stops talking like his team, not his son and Travis, have the ability to actually be competitive every week

Is there an appetite at the booster and institutional level to make that happen? Which members of the staff can sell a player on coming to Colorado for development? Plucking players from the transfer portal relies on a different skill set.
It's tricky. We won't have Travis Hunter, we won't have Shedeur. Seaton will leave for a bag if things don't improve and we don't have some star power coming in next season. This was a bummer game, but there's a lot of football left. Who knows, Shurmer could slip trying to hang a clock in the bathroom and bash his head on the toilet and turn in to Doc Brown.

Yeah. The defense in the Second half of both games we have played this year has been very good. Something to build on I suppose. The emergence of a good college DC perhaps. But I am dispirited by the injuries.
