My point is, we still have a ways to go to get to this level physically, but we're headed the right direction.

Definitely are. Because they can stack 9 or 10 in the box since DJU can't hit down field throws longer than 8 yards.

Then they go to him for completions on 2 straight 4th downs after lousy play calling put them in obvious passing situations.
Norvell is calling a lousy game. Anything went wrong on either of those 4th downs and the game could have been effectively over.
Haynes the RB is good
Not stopping the clocks after first downs appears to have knocked a half hour off of this game.
They also keep saying line to gain instead of first down. Maybe for the international audience?

Haynes King is a stud.
He was clearly the better QB in this game. Just needs to overcome those turnover issues, he dodged 2 bullets today

And the game wasn’t as close as the score. FSU lost the battle up front all day. It’s not due to talent.
Which is a big concern on our line. Gotta play pissed and I think Sapp and Loadholt will excel in that dept. I hope.
