Get away from the SW corner of the state known as a NYC suburb (which I'm guessing is what you know) and the rest of the state is rural New England and a pretty nice place actually (as long as you're off the train route which of course, is inundated with insufferable douchebags commuting to NYC).
Buy yeah, UCONN is likely to discontinue football before they win 6 games. And I'm on record stating that Mora is a loser. They could have hired a solid young and comer for half the price and almost certainly had just a good of a chance of getting a good result.

I traveled there several times 4-5 years ago for a project and had a different experience of the city -- aesthetic historic campus, good bars (including a Grateful Dead themed bar), and decent food.
I really enjoy the New Haven style pizza. At the time, I was also traveling to Chicago frequently and would often reflect on the stark contrast between the pizza styles. In New Haven, I'd order a large pizza and finish it by myself, washed down with stouts. In Chicago, I'd order two slices and maybe make it through 1.5.
Those dorks from New Haven like to rave about pizza that's barely the equivalent of any random slice you can pick up on literally any corner in NYC.
Dual shocker: 1) that UConn cares about feeding a good football team, 2) that Mora steps back into college coaching at such a current bottom feeder. Good luck to both, I guess.
Unpossible. The 247 board tells me that this staff is full of guys with an excellent eye for talent and the recruiting rankings don't matter.
