Underrated postIn a collision of two subject matters maybe UC Health can cure cancer and then plow some of the profits from that success into the football program. Regents happy, sports fans happy!!

Unequivocally yes. All else being equal and if CU can't have any other option, I'd trade Dorrell for Jay Norvell without a question. Is JN a coach that can get CU competing for the south? No. Can he put together a respectable product and not hire a walking dust bin + his son as the two people most important to recruiting? Definitely. Easy trade. Who do I need to suck off to make this happen?Do you think the lambs got a better head coach than us?

So Mike McIntyre and Jon Embree are on their list? Sweet.Anyone else feel like UO started their search by compiling a list of coaches that have beaten Utah?
I would be very excited for UO to hire Wilcox as their next HC. That would put a much lower ceiling on what UO has today.Wilcox shine has worn off after two poor seasons. Cal has their issues but I would laugh if Oregon hired Wilcox
McElwain>>>>>EmbreeI know others have said the same, but I am simply baffled by having to entertain the notion CSewe hired better than CU did. I have never, not even once, given a thought about CU not having a far superior staff. CSewe hiring Norvell has me plumbing the catacombs of the dark recesses of my mind. What's next clowns? Oh, already there. Spiders?
Am I the only one who would not trade Norvell straight up for HCKD?
And here come the spiders....thanks a bunch.McElwain>>>>>Embree
I'll never forget McElwain and his staff laughing and high fiving after tricking Embree into calling an unnecessary time out in '12.
Lubick ran circles around Barney.
And they probably don't care...That’s awesome. Can you imagine that happening here?
Actually, now that I think about it, I can imagine that happening here. There’s only 2-3 guys who “cover” CU athletics anymore. They’re easily controlled.
That is exactly my point as well.My point is that we don't engage in market capitalism in US sports. Yet strangely we try to engage in market capitalism in health care where there isn't the necessary factor of an informed buyer with the option of choice (alternate suppliers or the ability to do without). Then we tell ourselves that we're the capitalists while those Euros don't get it and are socialists.
Barney was 4-3 vs Lubick in the RMS. Lubick had less than half the resources and talent.Barnett was a better coach than Lubick.

The rest of the Pac12 shouts a resounding, "YES PLEASE!!!"Harsin is also rumored to be in play
Barnett won the Big 10 at Northwestern and the Big 12 at CU. Lubick was big in the WAC.
Some consider that game to be the "Big Game", others see it as just another game on the scheduleSome people consider head-to-head games as a true litmus, especially with a large sample size of seven games. Some people prefer to ignore those games as it doesn't serve their purpose.
Some people refuse to credit a winning record against Lubick--discounting it by saying that CU had twice the resources and talent, yet provide no support for this theory. What's your purpose again? Pointing out that Lubick did well in the WAC and MWC, and lost more than he won against Barnett? Some people consider head-to-head games as a true litmus, especially with a large sample size of seven games.
