In order to keep LA “in footprint” a certain amount of game have to be played there. One game/week set up as a neutral site game at SoFi in order to keep the market

1-4 Oregon State vs 0-5 Colorado a thousand miles away from both campuses in a city that doesn’t even support its home CFB teams is one of the worst ideas I’ve ever heard.
Let the SEC and B10 do that endless money grab commercialization. Give us games on campus against geographically similar teams. This should be about pride for our schools, not random people in LA that don’t give a f*** ffs

What if they played the game at Dorsey HS's field? Could be good for recruiting....
To be clear, I completely made that up and have no idea whether “in footprint” is determined by games (I assume it’s not).
If he wants more games in LA, they’d have to happen somehow though so I imagine it’d be a few games are selected to be played in LA from the conference slate. Makes me nauseous tbh.
Even non-con would suck. I hate everything about neutral site regular season games. It’s college football, play it at the college, that’s the point haha

If it was the difference between $30m and $50m per school, I’d have no issue with it, but I’m guessing a neutral site game in LA would probably equate to an extra $2-3m/school at best. Feels like GK is turning over every stone to squeeze every last $$ for the conference.
I’m also skeptical of streaming/digital services being a major broadcaster of games, unless the delay from real time to streaming can be reduced to negligible

What happens if the Regents decide not to allow UCLA to make the move. That would leave the P12 with a program in LA.
It would also probably result in the B1G going after Oregon or Washington, or both plus one more school to stay at an even number.

I wouldn't have even wasted time talking about that had I been GK. Just goes to show you how behind the eight ball this league is.

In all likelihood, the GoR specifies the law that applies and the venue where a challenge could be brought.
That is a very interesting question. One would expect such a contract to contain a governing law and venue provision, clarifying that the contract would be interpreted according to the laws of a particular state (what lawyers could call a "choice of law provision") and that any dispute would only be litigated in one particular jurisdiction (what lawyers would call a "venue provision"). I can't find a copy of the 2016 GOR contract, but the 2013 contract is available, and is silent on those two questions. I would bet that the 2016 contact used the same format and just changed the dates, so I bet that the current GOR contract is similarly lacking in those provisions.
That being said, the ACC's Constitution and Bylaws probably contain such provisions, and I can't easily find a copy of that online. When I searched, what came up was the bylaws of the Atlantic Coast Conference of the Mennonite Church. Which was interesting from an intellectual standpoint, but not helpful.
Thats just not realistic in my opinion because none of those schools fit in the SEC. And its the gained TV audience for ESPN that matters. There are bean counters at ESPN that know what those markets are worth. The Ad dollars have to be positive. The carriage fees have to be positive. People have to tune in. We all know school specific alums will tune in. But you need the rest of the casual market to as well.
In mind all that move does is import the P12s audience problems into an SEC thats firing on all cylinders already.
I decided to search further, and all I could find was a portion of the bylaws on the Clemson website, but searching for the ACC bylaws found results for:
