Calipari is so happy that he has soiled himself
Amazing.11 of the 28 completed brackets in the AllBuffs pool don’t have their National Champion pick playing in round 2. Hahahahah.
I honestly feel that the winner of Virginia & Arizona will be cutting nets down in a few Mondays.

Goose seemed to have a hard on for UVA. Maybe it was just some admiration though.I think all 11 are more than happy about this. Nobody really likes Arizona or Virginia, right?
Syracuse has been my favorite since the 90s when they beat Kansas at mcnichols. Always pick them to win more than I should. Least I could do for them shutting up the squawks fansCuse!!!

That's a strange thing to say in any circumstance.Kansas St. has got to be pretty happy.
I know they generally lose in the round of 64, but has a 16 seed ever lost in the round of 32?
On SportsCenter this morning he said, roughly, 'honestly, it was our defense that gave us the chance to win'. most of his comments went to the defense too.I heard UMBC's coach talk last week when I was watching something with their conference tournament. His strategy on how he built that program was on the Villanova model: recruit the most offensively skilled players you can and hope you can coach them to play defense.
While I think there's room for glue guys, perimeter stopper and rim protectors sprinkled into a roster so I'm not willing to go as far, I have to admit that in basketball great offense will usually beat great defense.
Makes sense. They bought in like crazy last night and that's the aspect he has to coach & re-enforce.On SportsCenter this morning he said, roughly, 'honestly, it was our defense that gave us the chance to win'. most of his comments went to the defense too.

After watching Princeton lose to Georgetown on a phantom foul call in 1989, and thus just failing to become the first 16 seed to beat a #1 ... I fall asleep during a game and then wake up just in time to realize that I just missed an historic sports moment. My sports life sucks!!
I'm enjoying watching it though.
Nantz, Raftery, and Hill are the only crew that don't make the game painful to hear.
(As soon as I write that, Grant Hill calls A&M "New Mexico" )

Admiration. Bennett’s a class guy and it’s nice to see them doing well.

I love Hill the player, and the man seems like a good person. However, he sucks as a commentator - so vanilla. And Nantz should only do golf...can't stand him as play by play in most sports. I like Raftery, but I can't stand this crew...have no idea how you like this trio.
To be fair though, Virginia is a terrible offensive team, and started to press quite a bit.
And a damn good coach. If I have a second favorite ACC team, it's probably UVa.
