A lot of this is a culture shift within our society that started with the Boomers.

Well-described in "Father & Son" by Cat Stevens - "From the moment I could talk, I was ordered to listen."

Progressively different attitude every generation. As an Xer, I thought I was open-minded and disrespectful of authority, but I'm continually surprised and put off by how people who are totally green and in entry level positions believe their opinion should be heard and given equal weight. They don't seem to get the concept of paying dues, earning a title, and then being in a position to drive decisions & culture.
I'm a late boomer and rebel as much as any Xer, amazingly this is exactly what I would've posted and received no quarter.

Not a good look for Carter. The staff burned his red shirt on purpose. If honest conversations are being had, he should know where he stands. Players have to leave from somewhere for more transfers, who would you like to see move on?
I’m not sure we ever cross mid-field on offense without serious improvement at the OL Do we really need a FG kicker next year?

I feel better about the program today than I did yesterday, Still a lot of work needs to be done. The key to next season is guys like Filip. He can't play at 295 pounds. Must bulk up to like 310 pounds and Coach Devan got to get him to play at a higher level at right tackle or left tackle. Still need to add a LT. There is too many young players, Not the right class balance.

Are there 4 other close to Filip on OLine?

I feel great about our OL depth. I think we have 5-6 NFL quality linemen. Question remains whether our young depth will be fully uncoached this year or if they need a redshirt to unlearn more about the game

25 players now signed, Probably have room for 4 more guys if there are no more attrition. I arrived at this number by been extremely conservative, Probably will be more than 4 guys. Could be about 8 to 10 spots available.
Could use at the mimimum a LT, RB, DT and an experienced shut down corner.

Who was the last true experienced shut down corner in CFB? And how many over the last 5 years?

serious questions.

Not many, Can't depend on true freshmen. Need some one that is a proven starter that has played at the College level and he is a shut down corner.

And this fictional shut-down corner would come here why? When? From where? Incarnate Word?
I will give you that the super-surprising arrival of Sneed from the Portal is the first real sign that such a thing is even remotely possible.

Thx. I’ll submit that this is virtually impossible and not credible. Not flaming, but being practical.

You shouldn't do negative recruiting against CU.

1. Playing time
2. Coached by Coach Chance
3. Recent success of sending guys to the NFL.

Convince me otherwise, but I don’t think it’s feasible to recast the OL via the portal. Unlike the other position groups, the OL requires chemistry which only comes with practicing and playing together for extended periods of time. It can take years and still not produce. Reassembling mercenaries, new schemes, etc. is a recipe for disaster.

CU should have been building OL talent from HS recruiting over the last 20 years. It has proven to be a fatal miscalculation.

Probably, but need talent and depth. Nothing else matters if OLine bad.

That's negative recruiting? How am I involved in the recruiting process? I'm not even on social media (unless you count this forum). I have...influence? This is news to me.

Your list raises the ten-thousand-dollar question, doesn't it: why did we lose 3 of our 4 starting defensive backs, then? They clearly had ALL the playing time, knew they were getting a new DB coach (Chance), and clearly came to CU knowing that there was a history of DB's going to the NFL somewhat recently. I think there are factors beyond your three which are causing us to lose our best players. I wish it weren't the case.

Every one is lossing players to the portal not just CU. C Gonzales and Blackmon both left after their position coach left for Oregon. C Gonzales followed Coach Meat to Oregon. I don't know what made Perry leave. Blackmon is graduating in May. Would have been a 5th year senior. I think he has already been with the program for like 3 years.
