2025 Transfer Portal News & Updates

Fixing the OL seems to be a priority, again. Hope 3d time is the charm.
Would be nice to have to worry about the OL maintaining a "good" level instead of hoping it doesn't stay bad to mediocre, but agreed.
The OL certainly deserved criticism but this season was a significant improvement over last year, which in turn was much better than Dorrell's 1-11 bunch.

Coming from where we were all I'm asking is continued improvement, and I expect that is what we will see.

Quinn Ewers incoming after wrapping up with Texas
We have to get some contracts and negotiating periods and other rules in place
Am I the only one who thinks Quinn Ewers is a good, but not great CFB QB? I can see making a play for him as a one year rental if you really need a QB, but the $6 MM rumored seems to be nuts, at least to me.

That being said, I am completely in favor of Oregon signing him to a 70 Gabillion dollar NIL deal.

I feel exactly the same way. He’s good but not great. Watching him and some of the other playoff QBs reminded me of how good Shedeur is in terms of accuracy. He’s not perfect and does a lot of things that drive me crazy, but his accuracy is elite. Many of these playoff QBs miss throws that I think 2 would make easily. Makes me even more upset that we didn’t have a better offensive system (or that 2 wouldn’t play in that system).

Major Applewhite level, imho.

No. He's the very definition of mid. Good thing he has Sark running the show for him.
