New spin on the OL hire. Kap followed him at SMU and purchased "The Rod" at CU. Was this a Kap recommendation? I'm going to pretend it is because that makes me feel better.
If Richrod was on this staff and wasn't the OC cause Chev, I would be so very very angry. Not sure he would take it and I’m sure he would be expensive but what about Rich Rod for QB coach
I don’t think the length of the contract means much anymore.I'm sure every coach will have a multi year deal. Chevs will be 3 years. Dont think this idea will hold up
Did you see what the buyouts for assistants were if we fired them? Cause they sucked. You are not basing this opinion on realityI don’t think the length of the contract means much anymore.
Yeah. Rich Rod is one of the true innovators of college offense. If you can get a guy like that, you put him in charge and turn him loose. If you can't offer him that, then the only conversation with him should be about an analyst role where you pay him a lot of money to help design the offense, mentor your coaches, and give insights on techniques/keys.If Richrod was on this staff and wasn't the OC cause Chev, I would be so very very angry.
You have crazy dreams.

I'd love it, but I think a more likely scenario would be how Tedford was an "offensive consultant" for a year at Washington before taking the Fresno State job.QB Coach/Offensive Analyst
These are all good things with the sole exception of the OL.I am struggling with the thought of a new play caller/OC, new OL coach, new QB, new QB coach
help me get positive about this.
It's gonna be okay, I mean, we basically hired the Tom Emanski of OLine coaches. These are all good things with the sole exception of the OL.
NTTAWWT!It's gonna be okay, I mean, we basically hired the Tom Emanski of OLine coaches.
No wonder we were so good at blocking.According to buffstampede, we bought his blocking system last spring, so I’m assuming that’s why he was in the picture.
Blast from the past for an old Blue Jays fan.I'm going to hold judgment until the Fred McGriff endorsement.
But has it produced back to back to back championships?I'm going to hold judgment until the Fred McGriff endorsement.

one coordinates the run gamebtw - would love an "expert" on here explain what a run game or pass game coordinator does...
It could mean additional responsibilities, but is usually like when your company offers you a resume-building title that doesn't come with extra pay or any change to your actual job.btw - would love an "expert" on here explain what a run game or pass game coordinator does...
I’m good. More experienced OC than Chiv.Langsdorf is a pretty decent hire at first blush.

man these (all) AC sure move around a lot. I know they make decent money, but that is truly living out of suitcases.
