What's with the hate for Russell? Guy tests well in every athletic test, he's fast, he can block. He's more of an H-back, but I don't see Fair is supplanting him either of the next 2 years.

So the history of producing extremely productive QBs does nothing for you?
If their opinions on Frost are any indication of accuracy, I’d be more concerned if they liked him.
No hate. He is a JAG, nothing special and should be recruited over lickety split. One of many starters that thrive on a 5-7 team.

You’re gonna have to help me out there. Admittedly not all that familiar with him before Nebraska. I just saw what he did with Nebraska
Langsdorf isn’t a sexy hire, but I definitely like his ability to get some decent levels of production out of slightly above average QBs.

I dont think a guy with his athleticism and strength combo at TE is a JAG.
Maybe not on a 5-7 team, but he sure would be on a 7-5 or better team. His athleticism is pretty limited in the P5 level, good effort guy that gets blown out too much by P5 players.
He has a ceiling. He has reached it. I do t hate him. I just think CU should - and can - her more production from a dynamic threat at TE.
I don’t care where he’s coached. I care who and how. He looks good on paper to me. So what, he coached at

I appreciate the effort. Sean Mannion as your gold medal from a 25 year career doesn’t get me to excited. It sounds like the sales pitch the busker fans got when him and Riley came to town.
Do you have a concern other than nub fans talking **** to you about him?
Oregon State has had 7 QBs drafted in the program's history, and only 3 since 1990. Of those 3, he coached 2 (in addition to nearly 15 year NFL vet Matt Moore).

Dude, your Nebraska buddies love Scott Frost. Maybe take their words with a grain of salt.
If the plan is to have the TE play as another blocker in the run game you are probably correct. My hope is CU is actually going to use the TE as a threat on offense
Along with Matt Moore and Sean Mannion OSU also got this guy drafted during his time there
perusing the years 2005-2013 seems they had some decent offenses despite what were no doubt low ranked recruiting classes. Names like the Rodgers brothers, Markus Wheaton, and Brandin Cooks

I agree. That is a good litmus for the Buffs. Recruit over him and the team has a shot at being a consistent bowl team.

Likely true, and not necessarily a good thing. Has to be a position of upgrade going forward.

He's second all-time in Pac-10/12 passing yards, but keep listening to your husker buddies.
