OFFICIAL: CU vs. Arizona Game Thread 10/19/24

Agreed. And also, for the love of all that is holy, For next season, Prime needs to find a kid who can consistently get his kickoffs out of the end zone like every other team in the country.
It might be Stoyanovich. He could progress from occasionally in the end zone to frequenting the end zone.

Either way, the improvement in kick coverage week to week after Baylor is so encouraging. Last year left real questions about the staff being able to make a team better as a season goes on. So far, the in season growth has been great for this team in a lot of areas.

On the plus side, we are having open kicking tryouts on Monday like ASU is.

I'm impressed with the team. We've seen remarkable progress thru the season, year over year, and obviously from where we were before Prime.

I don't think we are playoff bound as the big12 has some really good teams this year, but I think we will be nipping at the heels.

I look forward to the rest of the season, our first bowl of the Prime era, and to next year.

I hope you provided some explanation.

Coming from you that question might be concerning. ;)

Hey - I've known that girl since birth, so ew. In a general sense though, she's a sophomore at ASU, so it's good chance that many on this board could be caught ogling some of her classmates.

IMO, the huge, enormous, gargantuan difference in this team is we are DRAMATICALLY more physical than we have been since at least 2016. We upped our game after the KSU loss and physically dominated Arizona, just like we did UCF. 3 straight road wins for the first time since 1996. That’s great coaching.

Prime has turned this program around in 1 1/2 years. We’re seriously dangerous at the skilled positions with an elite group of receivers. And we’re getting more physical by the week. And Prime made one of the best DC hires in the country.

It’s extraordinarily impressive, we can’t pay Prime enough to stay at CU.
Give both him and Livingston raises. Livingston should be one of the highest paid DCs in the game next year.

Two things can be true at the same time.
Prime has done great things for this program. And he plays daddy ball.
Quick quiz: One of these things is not like the other. One is a successful merit-based pairing. The other is not.

A) Dan Hawkins and Cody Hawkins
B) Deion Sanders and Shedeur Sanders

Random question. What is the reason we line up spread and then shift on all the extra points? Is it just to set up a fake if we ever wanted to?

I think so? We actually pulled the fake last year and got it.

I had to leave at the end of the 1Q and listen on the radio and loosely watch the second half at a friends house. Did they come in for Harden and Houston on the right side?
They did a lot of shuffling. At first Benson was in at RT, then later at RG and Houston back at RT. I only noticed Mayers at LG, seems like he was there a lot, but in that early substitution with Benson at RT I didn't catch who was RG.

My presumption was it doesn’t let the defense line up properly to try to block the kick
