Pac 12 might as well be officially eliminated from the CFP. USC won’t be in the conversation, even if they win out and end up 7-0.
Don’t care about Utah, would much rather the buffs get a shot at SC.
It’s unlikely to happen and thus Buffs need to focus on a capable Utah team. If they can force the Trojans to hold serve twice and are both sitting undefeated then so be it. I have my doubts that both teams end up at that point, and namely SC has looked pedestrian.
PAC winner will not get to CFP, and nor should they. But for CU to have a reasonable path to a NY6 bowl speaks highly of Dorrell. I think he will continue to have the Buffs competing at a high level for a while
I think had they started two weeks earlier when the BIG did, there would have been a chance for an undefeated USC that played 8-9 games, but that was going to be a long shot anywaysAs soon as the Pac-12 postponed the start of the season, it was going to take total chaos to get a Pac-12 team in the CFP.

Maybe I’m misinterpreting what others want, but I believe the point is to schedule CU v USC for next weekend, and let Utah play someone else.I feel as though everyone is B_walking all over this ****. We have to take care of utah 1st and foremost
The situations are entirely different. The equivalent to our situation would be if Rutgers were undefeated and potentially shut out of the CCG. The B1G would not make an accommodation for Rutgers. The only reason why they’re considering an accommodation is because of the program stature of tOSU.Depends...if the B10 breaks their rules to put OSU in the Championship game without the requisite minimum games it might give the P12 cover to make a similar move.

Let's try this for an equivalent-Say ISU and Texas had been cancelled because Texas had a COVID outbreak, which allowed Texas into the Big 12 title game over Oklahoma.
**** Jon Wilner for this take. He's nothing more than Larry Scott's Baghdad Bob.

Still a dumbass thing for Wilner to write.Dude, I think you’re taking his comments a lot more serious than intended. Wilner has been pretty vocal about this situation and how CU is likely to get screwed. He has also been very critical of the conference in general. Definitely not a Larry Scott mouthpiece
Then why the MWC line? I thought it was uncalled for-especially coming from him.Dude, I think you’re taking his comments a lot more serious than intended. Wilner is suggesting CU would be better off in a conference that isn’t run by morons. He’s right about that, but the Mountain West isn’t any great shakes, either.
Meh. I really don’t want back into a conference run by UT.Bob Bowlsby seems like a pretty smart guy. I'd join the league he runs tomorrow if they asked us back. I think the Big 12 is going to make a run at us, Utah, and the Arizona schools before the next round of TV deals anyway.
Texas looks like the lesser of two evils right now, and its not that close.Meh. I really don’t want back into a conference run by UT.
No thanks to the Big 12. Pac 12 will get through it's leadership/relevance issues someday. The Big 12 will still be a big ****hole conference. I like the Pac.Texas looks like the lesser of two evils right now, and its not that close.

There are cycles to these things. I think we're in the right conference.Unless drastic change happens in this league, we need to go. Period. Competency in the commissioner's office is a must. Moving the conference HQ out of the Bay Area is a must. Better TV deals than what we have in this league are critical.
Well yeah but think how long it’s been since you’ve been to Norman, OK or Manhattan, KS. I’ve heard Waco is lovely this time of yearI still have several PAC 12 stadiums to see. Last year was UO. This year was supposed to be UA. Next year is WSU. We can’t leave the conference for a while.
I agreed 10 years ago. At this point, changes need to be made. There are cycles to these things. I think we're in the right conference.

How about Champaign, IL? Maybe Piscataway, NJ? You could definitely go for West Lafayette, IN, right?Well yeah but think how long it’s been since you’ve been to Norman, OK or Manhattan, KS. I’ve heard Waco is lovely this time of year
It’ll be just fine after KD starts winning it and winning more than we lose every year. Just have to win and it’ll all seem much better. Then why the MWC line? I thought it was uncalled for-especially coming from him.
I think we're changing leagues again in a few years anyway. This league makes sense from a geography and culture standpoint, but that's about it.
