CU at Arizona - 10/19 @ 2pm MT on FOX

Yeah let's completely ignore the data of what happened within the game
You mean the part where they scored more points than we did?

In 10 years, is anyone going to look back and say: Whew, they were 5-7, again, but LOOK AT THOSE ANALYTICS. They ALMOST COULD HAVE won more games!

Nope, they will see that we lost, at home, again. And that's all that really matters.

You really need to look past just wins and losses.

Do you only enjoy watching sports if your team wins?

Do you not get any enjoyment out of watching the game as a whole?

There is a point at which watching the same team lose, over and over and over and over again kinda removes the "but it was a great game" effect.

I get it when you lose a close game, and now instead of playing for the conference championship, you're relegated to a mid-tier bowl. But when you're just barely trying to scrape together 6 wins for a bowl, ANY bowl, for just the 3rd time in 20 ****ing years, then it really just sucks ass.

I do love all of you being all: They tried, and ALMOST beat the #18 team (while at the same time, declaring that KSU isn't good enough to be #18). Then I head on over to the NU hate thread, and watch EVERYONE dump on NU (and UCF, for that matter) for their "moral victories" and "mental championships".

I refer to an earlier post I made: Pot = kettle.

Shiloh sucks is in no way a hot take, anywhere other than this board 🤷
ok, I will briefly dive into this with you.

1. he is a starting safety in a power conference who also happens to have started a bunch of fcs games. that means, by definition, he does not "suck". sucking is running out a secondary with guys that legit couldn't play d2 and they are starting at CU.

2. use the google and see what scouts say. he is not perfect. he may not even get drafted. but the notion he is not going to get a look in the NFL is just dumb.

Who was the coach who has started him in every game he's ever started?

I guess you're just going to leave out forced fumbles?

giphy.webp

I mean if you think that's a skill...stripping the ball is a skill, but I will never attribute a fumble anything other than poor ball security by the offensive player.

This is a clown take. Just stop. So the leaders in the NFL for forced fumbles over the last two years are:

Fred Warner
TJ Watt
Khalil Mack
Myles Garrett
Bradley Chubb
Antoine Winfield

Those guys are elite defenders and most will end up in the Hall of Fame.

That post didn't prove anything, lol...did you think you just did something?

Big surprise...pass rushers force a lot of fumbles. You've blown my mind.

Winfield is a safety, dumbf*ck.
Yeah...I'm aware of that, numb nuts.

You're post didn't prove anything, bud. If you think hitting a guy, and he loses the ball is a skill...you're an idiot.

You put your helmet right on the ball? Not a skill. Just poor ball security.

Seriously...find me a defender who isn't a pass rusher who has huge forced fumble numbers year after year...then I'll consider it a skill.
