Oh boy. This is gonna get spicy. I don't think any coach can be considered off the table for UNC.

He's 74. I find that incredibly unlikely, even if he is the most successful active coach today.Coach K /endlist
He’s saying Coach K is the only coach that’s off the table for UNC. End of that list. He's 74. I find that incredibly unlikely, even if he is the most successful active coach today.
That doesn't feel splashy enough for UNC. I feel like they might be talking to some of the coaches still coaching this weekend first.Guessing Wes Miller will be the hire in the end
hold on. it's April 1st.
i'm now legit questioning if this is a joke
NO. We are not talking about people who would be interested in the Kansas job. It's not.
Dear God, please let them hire Bill Self. The comedy that would follow would be amazing.
Rational brain me knows this. Irrational fan brain me can't handle it.Kansas wouldn't want Tad. Can we stop this?
Mark Few is not leaving Gonzaga. He has had big offers before. He will retire from the Zags.Mark Few would be an option for UNC
Not surprising, but that man is going to be making a lot of money.
Speculation is that Texas may be paying a hoops coach more than their football coach.
Not surprising, but that man is going to be making a lot of money.
I think you're absolutely right, but if given a choice between Austin and Lubbock, I know where I would choose to live.It is more money, but it isn’t a better job than TTU.
Goes without saying. My only point is that, for a person who spends 60-70 hours a week working, a coach should want a nice professional return. The millions and Austin may make him happier, but I fear that he will suffer the same fate as all of the other really good coaches who failed there before him.I think you're absolutely right, but if given a choice between Austin and Lubbock, I know where I would choose to live.

A soon-to-be 63 year old with no ties to the school or area? It would surprise me.Does Altman get a call from North Carolina?
Does Altman get a call from North Carolina?
Not good enough. If they're going to that level, they'll hire from "the family" instead. I wonder if they'll make a run at Chris Holtmann provided they can't get one of the big obvious ones (Wright, Few, etc.).
Is North Carolina a gig that Billy Donovan might look at?
Agree-but I think he's more likely to Chapel Hill than Wright or Few.The CBS guys mentioned that one on their pod today. I feel like if he was still at OKC instead of in his first year at Chicago it'd be more likely.
Honestly, it's North Carolina - nothing would surprise me when it comes to the big names.
